Fall Festivals In The Triangle 🍂

Fall is officially upon us and as the weather begins to cool more and more events are going on!

Whether you’re looking for some of the best pumpkin pie, a hayride, or just to kick back and enjoy time with friends and family here is a list of fun-filled events going on in Raleigh and surrounding areas.

Autumn decor - Hello Fall

Wide Open Bluegrass Festival

When? Friday, September 27th – Saturday, September 28th
Where? Downtown Raleigh (various locations)
How much? Free stages throughout courtesy of PNC, some ticketed seats available.
What’s Going On? There will be 8 FREE music stages throughout downtown Raleigh and for the first time ever the Main Stage at Red Hat Amphitheater is FREE.

Hipp Farms Corn Maze & Field of Fun (Ongoing)

When? Ongoing from September 14th – October 31st on Weekends (hours vary)
Where? Hipp Farms (29 Ballard Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526)
How much? General Admission $10
What’s Going On? The Hipp Farms Corn Maze has everything you’re looking for to make this your best fall yet including a massive corn maze, duck races, pedal kart racing, bounce house, pony rides, sweet potato slingshots and MORE!

Mumkin Fest

When? Saturday, September 28th from 10 am – 2 pm
Where? Knightdale Station Park (810 North First Ave, Knightdale, NC 27545)
How much? FREE
What’s Going On? This annual, family-friendly event is has so much to offer with hayrides, food trucks, live music, food trucks, and vendors. Pumpkin painting is also available for the kids! Mums will be for sale as well to add a splash of fall to your front porch.

Wendell Harvest Festival

When? Saturday, October 5th from 10 am – 10 pm
Where? Downtown Wendell
How much? FREE
What’s Going On? This is a day filled with non-stop fun for all including a parade, over 100 crafts and arts booths from across North Carolina, live music by the Black & Blue Experience and Kids Zone (11 am – 5 pm).

Pumpkin Palooza – North Hills

When? Sunday, October 13th from 3 pm – 6 pm
Where? North Hills Commons (4191 Main at North Hills Street, Raleigh, NC 27609)
How much? Ticketed with donations to benefit the Holt Brothers Foundation KidsCAN at Duke Raleigh Hospital
What’s Going On? Chili Cook-Off, KidsZone, pumpkin carving contest (both kids and adults division), Oktoberfest Food Tent with brats, beers, and pretzels, plus live music, NC State Mascots and more!!

Fall Festival – Morrisville

When? Thursday, October 24th from 4 pm – 8 pm
Where? The District at Park West Village (3400 Village Market Place, Morrisville, NC 27560)
How much? FREE
What’s Going On? Trick or Treating, costume contest, and movie night in the green space in front of Stone Theatre Park West. Don’t worry, they have hayrides too!

HollyFest

When? October 26th from 10 am – 4 pm
Where? Sugg Farm Park at Bass Lake (2401 Grigsby Ave, Holly Springs, NC 27540)
How much? FREE
What’s Going On? This annual, family-friendly event is community-focused. Local businesses, artists, entertainment, and children activities will be in full swing for you and your crew to enjoy. There will be free Kids Zones with rides and inflatables, yummy food and lots of arts and crafts.
